Hi and nice work on Shattered Time, the preview video looks great.

Could you precise what you mean with "open source" though? As far as I know the Unity3D engine is proprietary, so do you mean that your game-specific code will be under an open source license (e.g. GPLv3), but one will need Unity3D to compile it?

I had to add "-lX11 -lstdc++ -lm" to the linker, and then I managed to build the Xenos engine. I can now start Dungeon Tactics, but I would really like to see a 1.2.1 or 1.3 release of the Xenos engine that lets Linux users build it more easily.

I'd like to try Dungeon Tactics on Linux (development version of Mageia 5, x86_64), but I don't manage to build the Xenos engine (version 1.2).

I ran into several issues:

* Ode 0.11 is needed, and it seems Xenos is not compatible with Ode 0.13 that Mageia provides, so I had to package the older version. It would be nice to port the code to Ode >= 0.12

* Then with gcc 4.8.2 I get this error: cc: unrecognized command line option ‘-Wl--export-dynamic’
It seems to miss a comma after "-Wl", so adding it enables to proceed forward.

* Then there was a linking issue for -llua5.1 (which should be simply -llua on Mageia when one install lua5.1-devel instead of lua-devel for the 5.2 version, but this issue might be distro-dependent).

* Still after these workarounds, I run in an issue that I can't debug:

Any idea? It would be nice to see a new release of the Xenos engine on sourceforge that builds with current gcc and ode.

I see a little Tux on the boxshot :) For when can we expect a Linux version? I'd really like to try it out ;)

It looks really nice, I'm looking forward to playing this natively on Linux!
For now I'll try the demo in Wine :)

Is a Linux port considered? That would be an incentive :)

I'm already considering buying the game to play it on Wine or on my Windows machine, but I would love to see a native Linux build. IINM, Unity 4 supports Linux.

Customer service seems to be a lot art... I'm quite disappointed in you WinGamesRussia...
Removing kind comments saying that the demo can't be played but that we look forward to the game being developed more is all but honest.
Now I get the feeling that you are trying to steal money with a unplayable game.

I guess I will stop tracking this game, and I'm glad that I didn't buy the game.

There are enough great Indie developers out there that I don't have to bother coping with dishonnest people.
