Elansar is an adventure game, along the lines of "Myst" and "Point & Click" games. The premise of the game is to explore an island and solve puzzles. You can move from one location to another, and turn around yourself. You can collect items in your inventory, and use one object on another to solve puzzles. Will you uncover the Island's mystery? Game available in English, French, German and Spanish language. This game was created only by myself for 2 years during my free time.

Oh its one of those games. Scroll around with mouse until you find the hotspot and click away. You'll need to navigate stupidly thought out pathways because of no free movement. Its also hotspot hunting to see whcih items can be picked up and must be picked up otherwise you'll be stuck. Then combine item A with every possible other item / scenery, then repeat for item B, item C.... Not to forget you must get the absolute correct sequence in order otherwise you can't get further, (no multiple ways to complete a puzzle for those who don't understadn what I am talking about).
Yeah once upon a time these were fun, but I was young and simple minded, easily amused. Good thing I've grown up to be more sophisticated than that. The least you could is make it free movement.
BTW visually it looks top notch!
shame really, it visually is quite appealing. wasted on a pseudogame.
Will definitely keep an eye on this, but my adventure game backlog is impossibly huge at the moment.
I see a little Tux on the boxshot :) For when can we expect a Linux version? I'd really like to try it out ;)
the linux version was not accepted because of missing libraries, I'm not linux guru, I just know that my game need libsdl installed, you can buy the linux version on my website.
I think this is becoming a bit of a new genre. Myst, Dear Esther, Proteus, Miasmata, The Witness...'island exploration' games of sort.
Certainly not new. Probably becoming prominant again, but certainly not new.
Well, mysterious island exploration in first person has been something of an adventure sub-genre ever since Myst. ;)
Reminds me a little bit of Monkey Island. :D
This is a comedy? I loved the Lucas Arts games, especially Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle. I'll buy it if its like those games.
