What can I say, I'm switching to Call of Duty
Why so soon? It's obvious that they were trying to depict the game less SJW-ish in this trailer. And it actually did look and feel better. I suggest we wait for some reviews when it comes out before making any conclusions. xD
I wouldn't really switch to the COD since it's been mostly the same for a very long time. Also, have you forgotten about the Infinite Warfare? Only, if there would be World At War 2 I want a switch. It would really have to be really like WaW and not Cod WW2 which was quite disappointing. Especially comparing to COD2 with all of its mods.
Luckily, there are mods like the Forgotten Hope 2, Battlefield 1943, Battlefield 1943 (the mod not the game), Battlegroup Frontlines, Back2Fronts, Hard Core Tactical Mod and a few others are much better options. Also, if you haven't played much of the Day of Infamy, Red Orchestra and Rising Storm.
The problem with the Battlefield franchise is that EA are the ones, who decide how they make the game. Dice are also not completely innocent, but I would keep my eye on the EA. Don't forget what they did to the other gaming series, especially to the Battlefront and Command & Conquer.
Even when I'm so negative about this, I'm actually waiting for more, because this game will be a bit more hardcore than the previous ones, and you will be able to build fortifications like in the PR, only the medics will fully health you and so on. Youtube.com
However, I don't get why it's so much colorful. I like when there are good colors, but this seems to be a bit more colorful than it should be.
BTW: Since there are women, I'm expecting the EASTERN front. However, I'm 100% sure, if they will not be in the campaign, they will be defined in the DLC.
I need no Fortnite in a serious setting such as World War 2.
Why Fortnite? Why not Project Reality or Squad? I know that EA will not do that, but at least close. Of course, that's after BBC2 I haven't bought any new BF game so don't worry, I will definitely not buy the new one. I just want mods and bots back, and maybe then I would buy it. However, no matter how good a game is, never buy it on the release. In a few months or years at max, there will be a sale on Steam and then its best to buy them. Or even better, buy them at GOG, where you can actually play them offline and you OWN the game.
Battlefield series totally gone((( EA and DICE take gamemode features from other games!That means, that is no interesting ideas in they brains to call more players! Battle royal? Building fortifications? Thats from Squad, ARma 3 and PUBG! Seriousely DICE?
