I have asked the creators of this game to post a response
I've seen the website, saying the game is f2p so keys probably not required to play it when it goes alpha on steam.
But we may get some special title for pre-playing!

As far as i know it is the indie developers who starts the giveaways, not the IndieDB itself.

the problem is i dont have cd keys...
It will definitely grant you an access to other pre-alpha/closed alpha tests, but we are not really sure about Steam Early Access - still thinking about it.
