Zombie Grinder is the debut game of TwinDrills, an indie game development duo made up of Tim 'Infini' Leonard and Jordan 'Jordizzle' Chewning. It's a multi-platform (windows, mac, Linux!) (also Free!) cooperative multiplayer arcade game, reminiscent in style and gameplay of retro games like 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'Super Smash TV!', but with the added benefit of some newer game mechanics - achievements, ranking, player-customization, rpg style stats and so forth. The game sports a variety of different game modes, from co-operative 'campaign' style levels, to wave maps and even the classic 'pvp' style game modes - deathmatch, capture the 'bag' and so forth. All of these mods are bristling with a variety of weapons and items, all lovingly displayed in Jordan's classic quirky pixel-art style.

I picked a community map to play 2 times in a row it crashed the game whenever it was done loading, didn't even get to see the map.

Which map?

Bare in mind we don't QA any of the community maps, players can upload directly to the game, so some people may screw their maps up.

Pretty much what Infini points out. There is good reason why I forum post any map files I throw in - simply because I want people to see and test and whatnot with the maps. Some maps, I have even pretty much given up on I just let people do as they wish.

That said Infini, I think this might be a sign saying that we all do need to do a check on the community maps section every so often and clear it of clutter.

wave_basement by Fulkinator: An old map dug back up, I've quickly learnt that there is quite a bit for me to learn with mapping. Map works like a charm, and is well worth whitelisting.

wave_junkyard by Thanatos:Map works, but there are odd things about it including the non-purchasable Rate of Fire Buff grenade (First row, Second column), the odd collection of freebie pickups in the corner, and how all the fences are set as Player Only Collisions.

wave_doombridge by Thanatos: Map loads, but zombies do not spawn. Most of the pickups seem not to be on Layer 3 as well.

arena_dungeon by Sudz: Um - I think I already told everyone that I'm done with this map - it's not gonna work the way I want it to, and it probably never will. It runs, but it doesn't work the way I intend it to run.
