Zombie Grinder is the debut game of TwinDrills, an indie game development duo made up of Tim 'Infini' Leonard and Jordan 'Jordizzle' Chewning. It's a multi-platform (windows, mac, Linux!) (also Free!) cooperative multiplayer arcade game, reminiscent in style and gameplay of retro games like 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'Super Smash TV!', but with the added benefit of some newer game mechanics - achievements, ranking, player-customization, rpg style stats and so forth. The game sports a variety of different game modes, from co-operative 'campaign' style levels, to wave maps and even the classic 'pvp' style game modes - deathmatch, capture the 'bag' and so forth. All of these mods are bristling with a variety of weapons and items, all lovingly displayed in Jordan's classic quirky pixel-art style.

well. I haven't played in almost 1/2 a year. I came back to see what's new, and I was going to impulsively donate because I had some extra cahs and I loved this game in the past. I played a few maps and I like the new big zombies and maps but I went to wave_tiny to grind some xp with someone and found out that I cannot reload my machine gun with it's explosive ammo.

I understand why you would do that to "balance" the game. 40ish shots and massive damage on each shot is really powerful. I was almost clearing up to wave 30 solo like that, and that is mostly how I reached level 52. However, most of the time, games are more fun when they're UNBALANCED. that's what makes it fun. specifically when it's you verses an AI. I was never interested in PVP which is the only place "balancing" really matters. I only went on the game to spend some solo time grinding experience, gems and gold, hoping I could conquere dungeon mode eventually. Maybe dungeon mode will still be fun, but I expect that I cannot reload weapons with the ammo I brought in anyway. What is the point of that stuff if you only get 1 stock of it?

Honestly, I wish you guys got the funding to make this game as good as is can be. Every time you ADD something to the game I am amazed, so I bet you can make this game SO much better if you had the motivation to stay on it.

I'm not trying to bitch, but I really lost quite a bit of interest in this game because of this.
