Witch's Forest Windows, PS5, PS4 game

Introduction

Hi everyone!

Today, we want to tell you more about our narrative, which is about two of the last witches in all of Europe.

If you have been reading our past devlogs, you may already have an idea about what the game narrative is, but here we will expand your view on it.

The Characters

Raven - Raven was born and raised in France. She had a hard childhood most of her family and friends died to the hands of hunters when she was younger. As a last resort, she traveled all the way to Portugal to seek refuge, since the Inquisition there was not mainly after people like her.

Lillith - Lillith , the youngest sister of Raven, also born in France but raised in Portugal, she hates living away from the city and loves to explore the world, she is a rebel teen so she doens't listen to Raven's advice.

Hunters - Cold-blooded murderers, ordered by the Inquisition, they hunt down everyone with any relation to a witch.

Narrative - The Hunt

Set in a forest somewhere in Portugal around the end of the 16th century, two witches live in a small wooden house hidden from the outside world. They had a rather peaceful life until one fateful day when the hunters found Lillith wandering through the local city. As she fled to the forest, the hunters followed her and are now planning on invading the forest to kill them.

It is now Raven's job to protect Lillith and herself from the cold-blooded murderers.

Witch hunt isn't a topic most people would talk about or have an interest in. Which is why spreading these stories based on real life events is important and relevant for cultural knowledge.

We know the prespectives don't match, we were testing diferent aprouches to a top down view. We ended up chosing the first prespective.
