As our game is a stealth game set in the Cold War and the main character is an agent in a "black ops" mission, we tried getting images that better resembles that concept, here are a few images that we used as base for that concept:
This one is, as seen by the "Diamond Dogs" bedge on the character's arm from the Metal Gear series. This series is overall a huge inspiration for our project and we liked this character design as it follows a tactical military aesthetic, but without too much gear as that would make the character heavier, so obviously it fits very well our stealth game conecpt (which is kinda natural since it is one of, if no the biggest stealth series).

This one is a bit less stylized when compared to the previous one, but we also chose it because it fits very well our Cold War setting, though we don't know if we'll have the main character beeing masked or with those night vision goggles.

And here are a few thumbnails we made for the main character with different poses and proportions. As seen above, we did mostly without any helmet or hat and in more cartoonish proportions with dynamic.
