The Desura exe location points to "&#xLA;UNCHER_EXE%", not the actual path to the binary.

Also, I'm using a dual monitor setup and VOD uses both of them, meaning my ship is basically split in half because of the monitor borders, so resolution setup and window/fullscreen toggle would be much appreciated.
Related to this, the space background is only colored in the middle, with black borders on the sides, apart from the stars. Screenshot here: Void of Darkness: First alpha

Hi null, I am unsure what the issue is with Desura on the launcher.exe I will email them. Did you download the stand alone file or did you install straight from the client?

Ok, just for context, I'll repeat it here so anyone else could follow from the comments. VOD will support up to 1920 resolution. With your dual monitor(let's bare in mind I have no experience even using dual monitors), you stated you run in windows mode, and probably just shove the game to one side of the screen and play it there.

There is a settings, but I disabled it in the alpha version, since I was auto detecting everything (besides dual monitors it seems!) This should be an easy fix. I might decide to include a launcher so settings can be set before the game launches.

I should have this fixed by the end of the day, apologies for the issue. Thanks for the support.

I installed from the client. It launches fine when I run the binary from a terminal, so it's just the path setting for the Desura client that's wrong.

A setting to select window mode and/or the resolution before starting the game would be all I need.

Don't worry, such things are expected with early alphas. ;)

any way to check the launch path?

Hi null I've added a launcher. I put a patch up. If you cannot see it yet, leave me an email here, I'll give you an alternate download location.
