Earth and the core worlds are suffering. Overpopulation and lack of resources are leading to unrest and desperation. That's where you come in. You've been recruited to colonize a planet more than 4 light years away. It's your job to save the human race from its own greed and consumption. The game is experienced from a top-down view allowing for the deliberate and creative crafting of every item, vehicle, and structure in use. Using a scriptable and dynamic artificial intelligence the AI Overlord will change up every aspect of the game. Nothing stays the same forever, making Worlds an addictively, dynamic experience with limitless replayability.

Greetings Settlers,

Release 0.11 is now live to our current closed alpha group. Here is the change log for all you rustlers that want a peak under the hood.

  • Physics overhaul
  • Effects added to all items
  • Effects mean something
  • Damage system implemented taking in account armor
  • Damage over time and critical hits are possible now
  • Speed makes entity move faster
  • Firerate makes shooting faster
  • Accuracy make shooting more realistic by throwing projectiles all over the place when the entity has low accuracy
  • Station dropbox and returnbox added for pick up and delivery from the space station
  • We turned off Caves, we need to focus on some systems for now
  • Added game time to a bunch of stuff for consistency from machine to machine
  • Redid the layout of the inventory screen and chest screens
  • You can purchase guns from the store now and they will be delivered by a drone to the station drop box
  • We did some code reorganization/refactoring to clean up some of our tech debt
  • Stacks weren't saving they do now
  • We save in a different thread now, so it should eliminate lag on saving
  • Adding strafing
  • Turret will attack fire lizards now
