Are there any plans on flares? Ace Combat doesn't seem to include them but e.g. HAWX gives the player an extremely limited number of flares (like 3-6 per mission) as an emergency measure for when you can't/don't want to dodge a missile. On the other hand HAWX 2 made flares fairly common on enemies in order to force you to use the gun but I can't say I liked that change. I guess flares are more sane than the "lol I dodge your missile" stunt of AC Assault Horizon Legacy that both the player and some boss enemies can pull. |

Yes, there are plans to add flares. The whole design of the mechanic it isn’t yet completed, but there are already some solid ideas: -the use of flares does not mean a guaranteed success. And these are the basic ideas. The whole mechanic will be fully configurable, so if you prefer you can always set it as using only flares and one flare = one evasion. |

But the flare are modifedable so it can shoot multiple amount of flares and chaff at same time right? And how about missile jamming? Edited by: dhannemon13 |

Yes, it will be possible to deploy both at the same time. SEAD missions it is already possible to make. You can find a radar dome in the game files. |
