Right, I don't know if this is the proper place to post this at, but anyway. Also, hi.

A minor thing that has been bothering me during gameplay is what seems to be a mistake while playing pilot taunts voice line files. I've looked through some .ini's of pilot voice folders and everything seems to be in order, though ingame I notice that more often than not, the game makes the pilot voices play lines like 'target hit!' when what was hit in fact was the pilot's aircraft.

I'm not sure what might be causing this problem or if this is an issue with the whole pilot voice system, but any help is appreciated.

Hi, yes I’ve also seen that some lines don’t match what happen in acting, but I’m not sure if only with the hit/damage types.

But from what I've seen maybe the problem may not be in the taunt system, yesterday I was watching a dogfight from afar, and when one of them was damaged it was shown “hit” in my hud, as if it was one of my missiles that hit that unit. I have to check system responsible for reporting who made the hit/kill, probably the issue is here.

It was an age-old bug IIRC. TargetHit lines often played as WasHit line.

Ah I see. I also noticed the hitmarkers appearing at random times during gameplay, but I didn't think it could be related to the taunts. Thanks for the info.
