We need something as large as this (larger is better) frakkin' mandatory Edited by: Nergal01 -- anon wrote: 'anon' wrote: Now I shall use this 'Vector Thrust Threshold' to measure how awful your product is |

Agreed, Times has already thought about having a groundcraft like this. I think its going to be called EOS-XX Behemoth. |

Transport trucks of some kind, since they've got a thousand uses in game, either as escorts, targets or other. |

I'd like to point out that TS does not have a concrete vehicle list in place, so you can go nuts with this. |
||

Well, if that's the case, I'll contribute as much as I can, though I've never been much one for military ground vehicles, as they're prone to cancellation and to overlap of function. Well, to start up the list: The Crusher UGV |

The addition of ground units are postponed for now, until the editor is complete. The reason is because, if a new ground unit is added and it isn’t immediately used by a mission, without the editor the player can’t easily make use of that update, making that addition seems somewhat meaningless. But after the editor, the will be added a whole bunch of new ground units, but no unit has been really decided yet so this is the best time to suggest new units. So, yes, go nuts! |

This. Because standard artilleries are too mainstream. And I'm thinking of something like a fictional design that represents the modern counterpart of Ratte and such collosal tanks. -- anon wrote: 'anon' wrote: Now I shall use this 'Vector Thrust Threshold' to measure how awful your product is |

The Ratte can almost be considered as a super weapon. This design may be too vunerable to the latest weapons, but a fictional and more modern version could be added to fill the role of ground based super weapon, something like the pic that you have already posted. |

There's one big downside to armored trains though, how does one defend the tracks? |

A Grobda is needed indeed. If your wondering what it is, it's a cork screw tank from the Xevious seires by Namco. Edited by: mittsommerschnee -- Noli Timere Messorem

In your opinion where the Hovertanks stand in gameplay perspective? |
||
|
May 21 2013 Anchor | |
Wouldn't that just make them into a normal hovercraft with a gun on it? Edited by: IbizenThoth |

Hover Tanks would most likely be fast recon-type tanks that could go down with a few rounds from a cannon ( I didn't like how tanks in Ace Combat 5 (and Ace Combat 4?) took two missiles to destroy- when the player was in a hurry waiting for your missiles to cycle was pretty annoying. |

Yeah that was annoying. Well I think corkscrew tanks and hover tanks would be good to see as alterative to standard wheeled and tracked tanks. -- Noli Timere Messorem

The CVR family of vehicles, for the small side of armored units. The Shielder minelayer of the family makes me wonder what it would be like with the incorporation of Metal Storm weapons. |

Mounted to a humvee? I almost want to play as that thing. We could also use HEMTTs. I tried to post that yesterday but that huge sheridan pic cropped everything else off. |

And BMDs or BTR-D/BTR-RD 'Robot' to rival this thing. Edited by: Nergal01 -- anon wrote: 'anon' wrote: Now I shall use this 'Vector Thrust Threshold' to measure how awful your product is |

Jun 18 2013 Anchor | ||
@ bornloser The HEMTTs is already in the game (it carries the patriot missiles), but it will be interesting, especial for missions, to have those versions as well. |

How about the LSV/LSVR trucks? They're articulated at the middle. |
