Times wouldn't it be fun to include a mode which takes a nod towards Battle Tiers: Invasion?

That’s a great Idea. I already thought about that for quite some time.

But I never reached a conclusion about what I should do, whether it should be a custom campaign or battle scenario levels.

Also about the UFO, they can behave similar to a helicopter, but that means they will be little challenge to a fighter.
If the VTOL mechanics where already implemented they could change mode and pursue the planes more easily.

But do you have any ideas how we could do this?

Hmmm... The Heli/VTOL hybrid controls would be a good idea as a starting point I suppose. I'll give a big think tonight and spill my brains tomorrow on any ideas I have.

They're spaceships, if you're worried about them being to vulnerable you can always give them shields.

Hmmm ... shields ... is not a bad idea at all! It could actually be a good excuse to add shield/deflector mechanics to the game.
