Urtuk: The Desolation

Urtuk is an adventure, turn-based tactical game, set in a dark fantasy world. The world is open and the player can travel freely with no limitations. The game contains two main parts - one is the world map, where the player holds a party of adventurers and travels freely across the map. The other part is the combat, introducing hex map with turn based tactical options, where the two opponent sides execute (in free order) units' actions. The world in the game is a place of pain, suffering and darkness. Urtuk is the name of main character. His story begins when he escaped from the Sanatorium, a place where medical experiments take place on common people. Urtuk's escape was successful thanks to his fellow old friend - Eldric. Urtuk has suffered a mortal disease, a mutation in the Sanatorium. Now he searchs for a cure in the world. It's only matter of time, when his mutation evolves to a level, when he finally dies.

After 1.5 years of hard work, we managed to release our first demo for our tactical RPG Urtuk: The Desolation! It introduces combat arenas for now only (along with tutorial), the world map is not included yet.

Tactical turn based combat with large maps, and environmental tactical options and carefully throughout class/skill system where units' positions matter
Story driven progress of main character - Urtuk, with main story quests and many side quests
Random events and encounters, based on time and area and party constellation
Hand-drawn graphical assets, from the world-map to battlefield, along with all characters and map objects!
Challenging gameplay with permadeath (turnable on/off)
