I like science fiction and good adventure games. In 2006 I published the adventure game "Captain Delta und die Quelle von Argos". This was the very first game published with Visionaire engine. A lot of time has passed and now I want to take another step. As a self-employed media designer I am working completely alone on this project. This will not be a "classic" adventure game. Our nameless hero is searching for hope. His trail brings him to a planet where only dangers are waiting for him. Will he ever find what he is looking for?

For a long time there was radio silence here and that has its reasons.

A longer time has passed. Work on the game is progressing well. Unfortunately, I realize that there will be costs in the future and the unfinished game will not bring me any income. Another goal is also to release a playable demo.

I tried to compose music on the side to sell as assets and offer something as a developer for other developers. These assets can currently be found at Unreal Marketplace and GameDev Market.

This music is really fantastic. Have you been a composer and game developer for long? I just got into composing in CuBase with Albion 1-3 and BBC Ochestra. New terrain for me. I have no musical training whatsoever. But composing is a great challenge while making a game as a visual artist.

What did you use to make these? How do you balance your time composing vs developing?

I started developing adventure games in 2006. Composing was added in 2011, but only in small steps. It's not always so easy to find a composer for your game project, especially if you have your own ideas about the music.

Ah, the Spitfire libraries. They are very good, although quite expensive. I also work with Cubase and use a lot of libraries (JAEGER, The Orchestra Complete 2, ProjectSam Essentials 1&2, Cinesamples Horns, Elysium and many more).

Besides my work I try to work on the game and sometimes I get a quick idea for a piece of music. Then I try to implement it quickly and archive the music first.
