In addition to the butterfly, there are five critters each with a unique story line or background. Each critter balances out, and is kept in check by, another critter type. For example, the ice moth balances the dragon fly, but is kept in check by the fire fly. thus, the 'fire wings' granted from the fire fly story line may be required to complete the ice moth storyline and the ice wings granted in the ice moth storyline will be required to complete the dragon fly storyline. This type of logic will continue for all five critter types effectively creating a cycle.
Now that the environment zones have been roughed out with the basic origin of each storyline, I've started to create the level variants. The first variant is the story of the ice moth and takes place, you guessed it, in winter.
