Trainotopia

is a multiplayer economic strategy featuring toy trains. Change the world, use action cards to affect other players, compete for the multimillion-dollar deals, create eye-catching locomotives — win the corporation war and reign over other corporations.

The gameplay of Trainotopia is a blend between an economic strategy and tabletop game wrapped in competitive game mechanics. You will have plenty to do — buy locomotives, plan and build your railway network between cities and factories, lay down the train routes, transport the goods, fulfill contracts and, of course, earn money for your hard work.

Inside game sessions — economic mechanism and time management are main. Players compete for the purchase of shares of the concurrent companies. Raise the value of your company by expanding your railway network and successfully fulfilling the contracts — and it will be much harder for your opponents to buy out your company.

Games Features

Multiplayer and Singleplayer Campaign

Up to 4 players can compete against each other during one game session. We have created a lot of mechanics that will allow you to confront your opponents. And, we have created several single-player modes: sandbox, campaign and scenarios.

Factions

Join a corporation. In Trainotopia you can take the side of one of four corporations. This will allow you to collect reputation points of that faction. Level up your reputation and receive access to new cards, bonuses and locomotives’ skins.

Building and Management

Build and expand your railway network. Create and re-organize your routes. Get more powerful and high-speed engines. Find the shortest way to town through a mountain or bridge a river. It will cost you more but these expensive routes have the potential to bring you a lot more revenue in the future.

Contracts and Resources Conversion

Combine different types of resources to get high-level goods. There are a lot of different resources and their combinations in Trainotopia, so you will always be able to come up with a more complex scheme of resources conversion. Get an important contract offered to you by a city and fulfill it. Do that several times and you will be able to influence the development of the city.

World Changes

Cities’ development depends on the players’ actions. The player, who successfully completes the tasks of the city, is able to influence its development: choose which business to open in the city and how to incorporate it into the resource chain.

Board Card Game Mechanics

These cards can force trains to go slower, make more lucrative deals, block the production locations, steal your opponents’ cards, and much more.

Legendary Engines

We replicated the locomotives and train cars to the very last detail. They are true to scale, as are the miniature rails, cross-ties, semaphore signals and train stations — you will feel as if you are indeed playing with a genuine toy train set.

Customization

Also, you can choose whichever locomotive skin you like out of several already existing sets.
