Tomes of Mephistopheles is progressing rapidly. Alpha #2 is ready to be deployed, just waiting on patch delivery system to be fixed.
Some of the new features that will be coming shortly with the alpha 2 update:
- variety of dungeon rooms and hallways
- icon indicating the way of interaction with objects
- improved AI
- improved gameplay

Can it not be done through Desura? I really don't want yet another website account. It'd be nice even if I could just buy without creating an account.

Tomes of Mephistopheles will be coming to Desura hopefully this week (I already submitted all files).
Why will it be more expensive?
I can understand that Desura might get a certain percent of the income, but considering the much bigger userbase that might see your game, I think it might not be necessary to raise the price.
We already considered it. Our first game, Steel Storm got into Top 100 during IOTY2010. And somehow, despite that and being on Desura, all the profit came from Steam and relatively nothing came from Desura.
