Sometimes our creative minds looking and strategically planning for unconventional ways, to improve our progress on “The Source.

This time, our Lead-Developer Daniel and Dirk, 3D-Graphics & Modelling artist, put together on saturday and discussed about our further development plans and possible closed beta phase of the game. After a couple of coffee’s and many many fights on discussions, we thought about implementing our “watchers” on one of the best feedback sources into our plans of a closed beta phase.

Right now, we are still preparing our “new road-plan” considering our new close-beta phase strategy. This doesn’t mean and shouldn’t be considered as a first sign that our closed-beta phase is just right ahead, unfortunately this is not something should be considered the next months. Rather it should show our followers that we are still working hard as much as we can but also planning some more steps ahead.

And regarding our planned closed-beta phase, we will use the possible best feedback source we can get, in our eyes:
IndieDB…since the early beginning of our development, we also focused on feedback and opinions from users at IndieDB.
As it is the best source for us, as Indie-Developer, we love to use the feedback and critics but also ideas and opinion from users following our Development on IndieDB.
That’s why we currently plan to implement not only feedback by some users of IndieDB but also implement all of our IndieDB watchers and followers as potential and mainly focused game testers for our closed-beta version.
Currently our plan will consider between 100 and 150 testers which will be able to participate with our development team during closed beta phase, so this will mean that we will pick the first 100 – 150 watchers on IndieDB following our project.

This doesn’t mean we will not think about a bigger number of testers, this just means that we will focus to get the most testers from within our indieDB page.
