Are you placing the items inside the Lair?
Its good to be able to randomize items by rarity, this game is almost getting to the point where you could roleplay in it a la D&D. Sadly, no: "You must gather your party before venturing forth!" :)

A lair will give a random item after you kill the boss. But you can put four items inside the same chest. In TPC, AI heroes can also give more than 1 item (vanilla only allowed one, as far as I know).

Wont this break the game a little

I made a map (on the orignal game with the unofficial patch installed) that was basically a level farm i increased my self in a cave with a wall with many towers, mortars, walls and other stuff i made a big room with god knows how many shops had all players but my self agents me so it was like a 1v5 but i had the better defences with titans guarding

look i can keep on about what i made but the point is that wont people just make a map like i just explained but instead of putting shops they just spam artifact items and put like 100 of them all over their spawning area for their hero to take

indeed, You can do that with vanilla already. Placing whatever items you want, create the map you want is something you can do, surely. This level item thing was just organizing things, so you can do it better. You can even place a specific items in the map, so you can "break" the game faster, if that is your wish (this is also vanilla feature).

All games have an editor, so it is up to you if you want to build impossible games, like we all did at some point.

Creating extreme maps or upgrading your hero to level 500 will break the game no doubt. This is really up to the player.

Ha, and random maps now can generate random items over the map, depending on the map's side.
