Just like spirit scrolls bolster the players card boss battle abilities, dark traits bolster bosses by your weaknesses. With each defeat to darkness your soul slides down the path of deeper truths, the more you fall the greater chance you have of pick up a dark trait. There are 4 traits namely anxious, hopeless, depressed and guilt, each respectively bolstering the defense, attack, manna and health of your opponent. These are stackable and are costly to remove.
