After successfully developing a working magnet gun prototype, Maxwell Industrial Research's space lab is attacked! The player must use the magnet gun to get past obstacles in various environments and escape back to earth with the help of his trusty AI companion, Armitage.
The magnet gun can be used to attract or repel magnetic objects. The player uses this to fight enemies, solve puzzles, and cross platforms.
