Blades of Ascension is a MMORPG for PC developed by individuals, inspired by Sword Art Online. We develop this game in our free time so do not expect fast game updates or fast servers. Blades of Ascension Online is supposed to be a VRMMORPG… We aren’t there yet. Virtual reality is still a dream to come, with the Oculus Rift being developed right now, VR might become reality within the next 10 years. We would like to announce the first of what we hope to be a regular event, “Unwind with the Developers”. While we are still a long way away from having a playable game environment to show off, we’d like to take the opportunity on some weekends to field some Q & A with our fans in a live environment. To that end, we’ll be running a steam where some of our developers will be unwinding with a little bit of online gaming while answering some of your questions about the development process. To start with, it will just be us playing rounds of various games with just the developers, but hopefully we will be able to expand it to us actually playing matches in games with or against some of you.
The basic procedure will be that one of the developers will stream to our Twitch.tv account (https://www.twitch.tv/bladesofascension) and you can join us there to watch us play while we answer any questions that you might have for us. One of the staff will be on hand to filter through the questions and comments and direct them at us, and we’ll do our best to answer them provided we can do so. If we can make this a regular thing, we’ll try to mix it up a bit as to who is playing on a given session so that we can field all sorts of questions on the various departments.
Due to illness, we will be pushing the stream back one week to November 16th.
As a result our first event is tentatively scheduled to be on Saturday, November 16th at approximately 2PM EST (Approximately 7 PM GMT). Joining us will be SeijiTataki, Community Manager and Game Designer, and Jake, our head programmer and project lead.

It been my dream to be a beta tester. I hope I get another chance.
I would like to know if this game is still going ahead. I haven't heard any news on this game in a good while.
If you need any testers I'd be happy to help, the game has a great concept.

True, but you must eventually drink the wine or the wait is meaningless.
Are there any plans for an update soon? Perhaps there is another website forum that is more up to date than this page?
