Super Smash Bros. Feud will be the only 3D Super Smash Bros. fan game out there. It aims to stay as true to the real thing as possible, with the creator's own touches. It will NOT feature characters and content from Anime, Indie or such sources but instead sticking to the known video game scope. Featuring a large fighter and stage roster, as well as collectibles, a large sountrack, XInput game pad controls and more. The aim is to not only make it more authentic, but to also give it the level of detail the real Smash games get.

Just writing to tell my followers to have happy holidays!

Hello followers of Super Smash Bros. Feud!

I am passing by to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and happy holidays.

But not just that, of course! I am still hard at work on the game, extracting assets and importing them. I created a Unity scene specifically for working with playable fighters, scaling them and the stages compared to each other, animating and the like.

I now have a whoppng >40,000 files in the project! They include rigged fighters, textures, animations, menu sprites, metal materials, stages, scripts, trophies, sound effects and more. And there are still many more to come. Super Smash Bros. Feud will be absolutely bursting at the seams with content.

Once every single model and asset is imported, I will begin seriously animating stages and fighters as well as scripting their moves. The fighters are the part of development I look forward to developing most. I added 5 more fighter slots to compensate for the lack of online multiplayer, however I have only definitely decided on 3 of them. There's a fighter I'm warming up to and thus seriously considering for one of the slots who appears in Smash Wii U and 3DS, specifically to please Smash fans. ;) Stay tuned!

I also have almost 150 songs imported into Unity, all spliced up for looping purposes, as well as around 20 trophies, fully posed and textured.

I just have issues playing the songs back through my C# looping scripts. I asked for help on Unity Answers but nothing concrete yet.

That's all for now. I hope you're having a great holiday with friends and family, and I'll see you later.
