Solitude (Working Title) is a PSP and PC game using a heavily modified Quake engine, expanding upon the story of Halo: Combat Evolved. Master Chief looks a bit tubby. But it looks flippen awesome anyways.
He looks fine to me. I think it is because of the spartans shoulders are a bit bulky. Also, We haven't been confirmed that this is our beloved M.C. He is most likely another Spartan, In another place, with his own mission.

We aren't some uncreative sellouts that would make an alternate story that takes place in the same spot as an official one using it's main character. We ain't gonna break cannon. We're gonna bend, it, but not break it.
No CE characters will make an appearance. At least no one who shows up frequently.
Except Sergeant Johnson XD (I wish). Because he manages to be everywhere without dying.
Sorry, I'm not well educated with Halo or Solitude. The scene is nice though.

Anatomical proportions are pretty bad to be honest. You may also want to work a bit more with rim lighting and soft shading. The highlights in the armor make it look almost plastic, and the overall tone of the page isn't giving any specific mood.
Getting a bit more specific with anatomy, it looks like you just slapped a bunch of body parts together, most noticeably in the neck to upper torso area. Body parts are supposed to flow together to create natural curves. The neck looks like a cylinder sticking out of a blob, and the head doesn't seem to have definite shape, as if his skull is thinner than his neck. Just some friendly tips.

Look at his(her?) arms, notice how they seem to angle towards each other? Almost as if they are holding a pistol, or are they holding something else down there?
