The royal cupcakes have been stolen! It is up to Sir Boingers to travel through the country on his trusty Bouncy Bird, recollecting all the cupcakes on his way and finding the culprit.

This is a very retro-styled platform game in which your character constantly jumps, and you control the jump height. The primary goal is to get to the end of all the levels and progressing the game's story, but of course it's a good idea (and a challenge in and of itself) to collect all the cupcakes you can find in all of the levels.

The game is still in heavy development. An alpha version is available for testing and playing around with, however.

NOTE TO LINUX USERS: while the game engine that I use does have a Linux version, it is tedious to get working in its current state. Thus, it is recommended that you play this in Wine. The game works perfectly in Wine.

Slow, sweet progress

At the moment, I'm working on overhauling the high scores system so it separately keeps track of your death, time and cupcake count. Some reasonable and challenging default scores will be set for the default levelset so you can challenge yourself and try to get that high score in either of the three categories.

If I could do online networking, I would totally make this an online competitive thing. Alas, I have zero experience with that. Maybe at some point. But for now, this score system should work rather well. Imagine showing off finishing this game with zero deaths, especially since it'll get quite difficult in the later stages! ;)

After this, I'm totally adding in some enemies and new hazards and obstacles to overcome!

Played the 1.0 of this game, just picked up the 2.0 and I would pay money for this game, that's how much I like it.
