Simulacra is aimed at being a nimble, twin stick shooter with smart tactical combat and light base building elements. Set on a faraway planet, the player assumes the role of a Robin hood-esque character, a synthetic virtual intelligence that puppets various automatons to interact with the world. You will explore the planet's surface, meet locals, and work to save them from their captors.
Initial layout of shoreline map using heightmap and decoration layers generated in World Machine. Still needs some aesthetic and functional polish but yields good flexible results that should enable easier production of map variations.
