ScrumbleShip is the most accurate space combat simulation devised to date. Gather resources, construct a capital ship out of individual blocks, then pilot it with AI or human help against other players.
That's a whole lot of ship! It's awesome to actually see the figures associated with the work I've been putting into her. Gives it a sense of scale. For instance, I now know that my ship would, stood on end, dwarf the tallest building in my city, which is only 161 meters tall. Fun facts. :)
The mass is going to go about by at least 3 times, as only the outermost layer of the hull is 90% complete - the inner layers and bulkheads will be made of lighter stuff, but will still add up.
Yay, finally I won't have to measure ships by placing down PET blocks! Queen Mary would be quite a pain to measure that way.
And that ship is huuuuuge! Insolent Killer would fit in it nine times and even Pandora is barely third it's lenght. Looks like I will need the Project Impaler after all.
And I would love to share, but the thing is just what it is - a project. The thing is far from being finished and I'm still not even sure on the design.
I also noticed I have began a lot of projects and left them unfinished since I ended up with lots of empty rooms just for the features the new version will have. Well, I guess you bleeding edge folk don't have this issue.
Mm, we still do. The hold and such don't really function yet, so I'm left leaving space as a placeholder until I know how much space will need to be occupied by things like fuel tanks, coolant tanks, and holds.
Some automatically generated statistics on the current version of Insolent's S.S. Queen Mary Ann.
She's 269 by 127 by 184 meters, using over 100,000 blocks and massing-in at over 2 million metric tons.
Insolent would like to note that the weight of this ship is in no way a reflection on the ship's namesake, his girlfriend.
Cheers,

Project Impaler? Sounds way too phallic to be allowed anywhere near the Queen Mary Ann!
Seriously though, I am intrigued by this "project." Care to upload it, or is it top secret? :)
I knew I should have named it Dracula.
