This is the new hangar door on the front port side of the S.S. Queen Mary Ann. Behind the door is a long launch tube (roughly the size and shape of the door) which I plan to stack full of fighters and bombers.

There will be a similar door at the back of the ship as well, which will allow ships to fly out of both ends for a faster scramble.

Nice! You could fit a squadron of Xyphos in there!

The Queen Mary Ann will never carry anywhere near as many fighters or bombers as the Elysium has corvettes, that's for sure! :D You will certainly keep that edge when we do battle. The plan always was to make those spaces into launch tubes to have /some/ fighter capacity, from the very first. :P

I will be very interested to see how the corvettes fare - at their size, each of them could be quite a threat.

I recently did an upgrade to the bays. If ZeroKnight's Cobra was just three meters shorter, it would fit in ;)

I understand why you want some fighters in, though. They have the advantages wich QMA lacks, ie small size and speed.

It also makes it so much more similar to a Star Destroyer.
