This is the official example game to demonstrate the current features available in the RPG in a Box game engine. The plan is to update this example game on a regular basis as new features are added. This will give the community an idea of what is possible in the latest release and even a preview of what is coming in the next release! It's also a good way to check out the engine before diving in and creating a game yourself.

The RPG in a Box example game has been brought up to date as of v0.2.2-alpha (April 8th, 2016). Listed below are the changes that have been made to the example game since the previous version. I most likely forgot something, but this should give you a fairly good idea of what is different.
I will be repurposing this page to use for my official example game since RPG in a Box is now properly listed under the "Engines" category.

Simple, but smart idea, good job!
Thanks! :)
The second project made in RPG in a Box is a example, certainly has what I lack the Vloxelworld (Can you edit the battle system for the camera in first person?)
Yes, first-person combat will be fixed in the next release.
This is a solid 11/10. Sure its missing a few things, but it's so well made! Using this, many more people will be able to create amazing RPG adventures.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you like it. :-)
RPG in a Box has now been submitted to IndieDB as an engine. Going forward, I will be posting news and any other updates to the engine page instead of here. Thanks for your interest in my project!
Man, this is SSOOOOOOO awesome!!!! I like it... but i don´t know too much how to do a Voxel Model... why don´t you put this option: Download Voxel Packs, with characters, Tiles, etc... but, keep the good work
Thank you! I'm glad you like it. :-) That is definitely something I will consider. In the future I would like to have some sort of hub that would allow everyone to share their models with each other. Once the software progresses a bit more, I also plan to create some video tutorials to help demonstrate how to use each of the editors.
Why is this in the games? Shouldn't it be in the engines category. And is it free?
Also, sorry for the late response!
I am planning on getting this re-submitted as an engine once I get a chance. When I first added it I didn't realize that I was able to submit it as an engine. It's free until it is out of the alpha state and becomes more complete.
