Dear Martians!

We’re continuing our devlog series with another interesting content related to the Curiosity Rover!

Before you start making repairs, it’s good to learn more about Curiosity's components. The rover equipped with fragile science instruments requires a special power system to provide electricity and heat. That’s why this big robot is equipped with the Multi-Mission Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator (MMRTG), which converts the heat from the natural decay of radioisotope materials to electricity.⚡

MMRTG consist of two elements: a source of heat that contains mostly plutonium-238 dioxide, and thermocouples that convert the plutonium’s decay heat energy to electricity. During your mission, one of your tasks will be to repair this critical device, but it won’t be a problem for you since you’re a great engineer!⚙️

Implementing Curiosity Rover to the game will take some time, so please be patient. We will soon provide more information. RMS Team is working hard on this big update that will give you additional hours of the gameplay. Stay tuned! 🤖

Remember about our Community Group Challenge as we’re getting close to reaching the third goal, which will unlock the ability to fix the Mars Helicopter Ingenuity! Feel free to spread a word to more people interested in Mars Rovers and engineering.
