Nearly 8 years ago we were voted by players as the Indie of the year and here’s hoping we can reclaim that title with a sequel to our most popular game, Robocraft!
Robocraft 2 is our return back to a UGC battleground. As a team, we’ve built up a lot of experience and have worked on several different types of technology to create an evolved version of Robocraft in the shape of Robocraft 2. The core mechanics will stay the same, you’ll build a robot out of blocks, then bring it into battle against a number of players in online combat.
One of the features that were heavily requested in Robocraft was based around the idea of ‘Rotating platforms’. This was something that we were not able to add to the original Robocraft, but using the current technology we are now able to create rotating platforms! Here they are in action
When you construct your bot, you’ll build it inside a workshop area called a Bay. We’ve been working on the design of the very first bay in Robocraft 2. Check it out below:
Of course, you’re going to want to drive in comfort. Our artist Francesco created these new Pilot seats which are heavily inspired by Sci-fi designs.
