Game Summary

Quad Knight is an Action Platforming Adventure title where you play as Domino, a small horse who becomes a Knight by accident and must help Crescent, a moth who has NO faith in his abilities, and save the world. It's up to him to master the 25 different Powers you can find and use to help fight enemies, solve puzzles, or make platforming easier.

This game will feature over 6 Unique Worlds to explore, and are not based on the standard "Plains, Desert, Ocean, Lava, etc.) but rather the progression of Quad Knight as he tries to reach the Moon. He will start in at his Kingdom, climb the Mountains, scale the Clouds, endure a Storm Vein, and reach the Top of the Sky in order to reach the Moon!

Through the adventure, you must rescue Fallen Stars to build a bridge to the Moon so you can counter act the evil Master Omega and his plans to envelop the world in eternal darkness. These Fallen Stars are placed in levels where you need to collect most of them to proceed to the Boss Stages. There are a total of 256 Fallen Stars that will be in the game, along with over 45 Main Levels, 6+ Boss Levels, 6 Bonus Levels, and over 30 Mini-Levels for you to go through, should the game reach it's goal of being Green-Lit. Should other future goals be met (Like Kickstarter) more levels or even Worlds may be added.


This game is based on Kirby, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and classic Castlevania Titles with the idea of managing your items effectively and on the go. There has been a lot of thought put into the game play, the main focus being; the player should feel free in the stages as well as free to try experimenting with all sorts of powers to see what different ways they can take out a common enemy or what powers they currently have that they can take advantage of to get a Fallen Star. I feel that not enough platformers these days give this sort of freedom and wish to create a game that takes advantage of that.

Why a Horse of all things? Why not just a regular human as a Knight?

There were a few designs I tried, but my first design was a horse. I tried a few other designs, but none of them fit. I eventually showed it to some friends and they liked it. The very design of Domino you see now is the exact same as he was when he was first imagined! That never happens with me!

Quad Knight being postponed!


After some tests and hard thinking with friends I've decided to halt production of QK. While I had a clear goal about how the game is suppose to be, it occurred that there are better ways to do it and many things that need change. But I am also exhausted from working on it for seven months straight. For now, I'm gonna take a break and let new thoughts/experiences come to play so I can make Quad Knight better.
So, the few of you who have seen the game and like it, no worries! Just mean more thought is being put into the game so it's actually good as a whole.
