"Protein Pirates!" is a simulation RTS in which you play a self aware virus bent on taking control of a human host to kill it! As you secure more organs and cells your virus becomes autonomous in order to deal with larger threats. Initially "Protein Pirates!" was created for the IndieSpeedRun 2012 game jam in 48 hours. We won Grand Prize with "Protein Pirates" and secured enough confidence to turn it into our first full release title. The game will span across approximately 32 levels over 4 organs with 6 virus automatons and other features to unlock and explore. Currently we are about half way through development and hope to release sometime this year. For more information visit our Facebook page for details and updates.

We created a short video showcase of the features in Protein Pirates! for the IGF this year. In the video we run through the levels found in "The Tummy Gut", show the decay of the organ as you kill it, and give a small glimpse of the first boss! All the base mechanics can be seen in the video and will be expanded upon as you progress through the game. Enjoy and let us know what you think!
