We are going for a multi-player focused survival experience for the core of the game so get ready to hunt or be hunted!

There's more information about what is going on with the character.

From the Cooldowns to the level of mutation you have in each part of the body, now you'll be better informed about whats going on.

We added the chest so you can store your valuables and keep a nice stash of food and tools in your house.

New Animations

We have been adding new animations to the main character giving her a more distinct outlandish feel.

You can try our new basic movement animations (move, jump, swim, etc) and a couple of attacks.

New Attack System and Executions!

The new attack system lets you combo attacks together. In this version you'll be able to test simple boxing combo and a new alternative attack.

This being a permadeath game, you loose every thing on your body when you die. So it is really important that dying or killing are unique moments.

When you drop to 0 hp you will fall down and crawl for a few seconds. If you get out of harm's way you'll get back up with a portion of your hp. If not.. you might die and loose everything..

And of course if you really want to murder someone you can go over a crawling player and execute them!

Paired with the new animations we are really hoping, that you guys like the direction where we are taking the combat in Shrooms.

Larger Map and Environment hazards

We made the map bigger, now there are a lot more places were you can build cool houses.We rebuilt the swamp area making it more swampy.. and it looks good!

Most of the mushrooms will not be picked up without a sickle instead, they will burst in your face and usually that's not very nice.

There are Environment Hazards that will make your life a bit more difficult in the swamp and the desert. Quick tip, play with them to protect your self from other players =D

What are we working on:

Finish up the Attack System

We are still working in the movement and attack system making it work with mutations, weapons, special movements, special items, etc

Implement Co-op mechanics

We are starting to create more interesting co-op mechanics for crafting and combat, more on that later.

Rework Mutations in Visual and Gameplay and..... Male Character

We are making a visual update to the mutations and making all of the mutations more meaningful.

I am very intrested in this project because of the amount of effort put in to it, and the cool updates, and the whole survival aspect of the game.

Hello !
First at all, sorry for my English, I'm French.

I've just tried your game, and there are my impressions :

The design : Really awesome, it reminds me of Borderlands style ( cartoon-style ). The reactions of the trees and mushrooms, which glows the night, the rotten trees, when you cut a tree which is glowing, the root keep glowing, but the tree trunk doesn't. The animation when we cut the tree is simple and great.

The gameplay : For the moment, there isn't a lot to say about it, but as i told above, I like the animations when cutting trees, the swimming is natural. I love the reactions of the planks when you jump on it.

The defaults : The movements, they seems laggy,but it's just a demo, so it's not a big problem;
When we are underwater, we don't see a difference with when we are on the ground;
No sound, it's a little bit oppressing to ear nothing, but as above, it's not a big problem for a demo.

Yes, at the moment it is only a tech demo to show the kind of art style that we are going for and one of the core mechanics which is the 3 species of fungi eating each other :D
It always makes my day to see someone enjoying our work! We're really trying to go for something a bit different from the existing survivals!

We're working on a website to get newsletter and other things running but we have a bigger priority on getting a couple of more features into the game before that! So for now, if you would please subscribe to the project here at IndieDB, we will make sure to update this page with all the juicy progress notes!

Será um prazer ajudar, e eu já estou seguindo o projeto, só tem um probleminha, meu computador não é lá essas coisas, então, quando instalei o beta do jogo ele ficou muito lento :/
É uma pena que seja um tanto quanto pesado para eu poder avaliar o jogo..

O jogo ainda não está optimizado, e como tal ainda não corre tão bem como deveria, mas com os updates que lançamos todos os meses vai ficando cada vez mais optimizado, por isso vai vendo de vez em quando e diz-nos se vai correndo melhor! Já agora, se poderes, envia-nos as specs do teu PC, para podermos ter uma noção!
