The Faction is the largest and most un-original faction in the galaxy :)
Though there naming conventions such as Fleet, the name of there fleet and Faction the name of there faction lack imagination they are the most successful group in the galaxy for a reason. Ruled by a counsel made up of 5 senior leaders from across the galaxy Faction has proclaimed its self the default galactic government though lacks the man power to enforce that claim in distant sectors.
Highly driven by "progress" Faction runs some of the galaxies best schools and academies which contently give there government body first dibs on the brightest and best though officially attending "The Academy" doesn't indenture you to Faction service a surprising number of graduates find there way into Faction government or military.
