Project Frequency is the name of an occult movement that it’s main focus is to establish a clear line of communication with the spiritual world by manipulating frequency waves. It has been practiced since the medieval times or before, with the use of musical instruments. We’re all surrounded by different frequencies, even by the ones we can’t perceive, a change in vibrational state, or frequency, can shift our consciousness to perceive other dimensions and spiritual planes. This movement is still alive in modern times, but it’s only accessible through the dark web and the deepest corners of the internet. Computer savvy people, hackers and other curious internet dwellers have been all going at this, with different software and techniques. Rumors have been existing since the early times, that practitioners randomly disappear without a trace. The player is one of these people who are active in Project Frequency, after working on it for quite a while, he eventually becomes one of the missing people, right after witnessing a bizarre and extremely disturbing behavior on his computer. He loses slowly loses consciousness, waking up in an alternate reality and is left to survive on his own.
My mission for Project Frequency, since the start, was to create a unique experience in the “Open World” genre, that’s been massively saturated and used by multiple games. All these games focus on the zombie apocalypse experience, but most just focus on the PvP aspect of the game, zombies are just there and the players basically kill each other, like a massive never ending team-deathmatch for can of beans and giggles, there’s barely any cooperation from the players to fight the AI.
Project Frequency focuses strictly on the PvE component of the game and the replayability that the content will offer, with mostly everything being randomly generated. Players will survive by scavenging supplies, while scavenging and exploring they will find notes and new areas to explore. Some of these areas are extremely dangerous and filled with challenges, but they offer the best loot. While progressing through the world, the player will know more about the story and the alternate reality they’re in.
There will be a competitive multiplayer added later on in the development which will be similar to how Last of Us MP played out, but that doesn't mean you can't kill your friends in Survive/Horde, friendly fire is always on.
A new teaser has made its way on the internet, this time its showing a new rave club environment!
I've been playing around on my spare time with a VR version of PF, this is what I've done so far, it's still very rough and a work in progress, this is...

Haha, jokes aside, there's no 4k support due to the graphics setting being hard coded, but expect 4k support for the steam release :P
