In the lands of Dragonscape You, a wise old Mage defends your Guild from a mysterious spell that has been cast over it. All that is left, is the only magic that can't be undone, the true source of a Mages power that lies in arithmetical knowledge. Ancient spells and magical power of the Elders have vanished without a trace. You are tasked with piecing together this mystery and restore order before it's too late.

This week hasn't been as productive as I would have liked, however there still progress worth mentioning. A video was uploaded showing some cut scenes and game play elements which I was really excited about. It also was interesting just watching the video myself as it really highlighted areas which may have been clear to me during creation, but the end user would have no idea what was going on! or how did I work that out?

This week hasn't been as productive as I would have liked, however there still progress worth mentioning. Coming down with the flu and worse this week has really hindered my productivity.

A video was uploaded showing some cut scenes and game play elements which I was really excited about. It also was interesting just watching the video myself as it really highlighted areas which may have been clear to me during creation, but the end user would have no idea what was going on! Or how the hell did I work that out?

Taking what I realised from the video, my main focus area this week has been the coding of quest management. Some of the actual quests themselves have been in the game for some time now, however there was no real way to record them; give hint's on what to do or where to go next; what quests are or aren't complete? So what have I don't to solve this? I've created a Journal window to help guide you on your way.

The quest window is brought up via pressing a key which shows and pauses the game. When a quest is added to the game player if it's not complete it will display in the Journal window in which you can cycle through. The other page of the Journal will show you what spells are available and highlight what you have in your inventory.

I've added a new screenshot of a WIP Journal window taken from a 3D render.
