Now, let's take a look at some concept arts that helped us shape the characters you saw in the trailer of Little Legend.
The Countess
The inhabitants of Lancis don't know much about her except that she rises to power quite fast. She becomes one of the most important personalities of the Capital and she focuses all her wealth and energy on the large scale Expeditions in the outside world. A rumours even circulate that she could be immortal...
In the beginning of the trailer she appears with her face half-hidden, giving advices to Pimpim and then reappears at the end, sitting on her imposing throne.
Pimpim
The following sketches of Pimpin helped us define her personality and attitude.
Pimpim is a cheerful and optimistic character even if she can sometimes be quite sulky and stubborn.
As long as she can remember, she always seemed to have natural magic abilities. Those powers can sometimes affect her attitude when she feels strong emotions, making her hair color to change.
Some of you have noted that there are some hints of Disney characters in her appearance. We indeed took some inspirations in some art from these classic movies.
