What would happen if a game had artwork combining the Disney innocence and detail with Tim Burton’s twisted and dark humour? You would most likely get something like Lazarus. Bamboo Raven, a graphics company based in Canada are working with Rampant Studios, a group of programmers based in the UK to create their first game together, and it’s going to be something… excellent.

Lazarus: The Missing Memory - Logo

A quick update

We have updated our deadline to before the first of October in accordance to the EuroGamer Lazarus - Work in Progressentry deadlines. By this time we will have the gameplay mechanics in along with a few levels and a survival mode within the game, allowing players to get a feel for what the final product will be.

Bamboo Raven have recently sent over some 3D renderings of Lazarus. Personally I think they are great and show a lot of promise for the future. Along with these renderings we also recently posted a very basic overview of the HUD system along with some rough particle effects, you can find that here.

Plans for this week?

We hope to have the HUD fully implemented along with a Drag and Drop system for the spells using Scaleform Clik. We also intend to create a few more spell effects such as the Area of Effect spells along with working on a targeting system.
