Descend into continental Europe where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech’s failed experiment has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum, essentially paralyzing the European Union. Just one month after the conclusion of the events in the original KILLING FLOOR, the specimen clones are everywhere and civilization is in disarray; communications have failed, governments have collapsed, and military forces have been systematically eradicated. The people of Europe know survival and self-preservation too well and lucky survivors have gone into hiding. Not all have given up hope though... A group of civilians and mercenaries have banded together, paid for by Horzine, to combat the outbreak and established privately funded operation bases across Europe. Upon tracking specimen clone outbreaks, players will descend into zed-laden hot zones and exterminate them.
Escaping the infested mainland of Europe, you and your party take refuge on an oilrig off the coast of the Arctic. Hope makes place for dread when you realize this place is not what it seems. #grindhouse link to the file on the workshop. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=802403915
OK I've seen quite a few oil rig based maps, but this one is the best BY FAR. Amazing level of detail, both the visuals and the map design are both top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this, and see myself playing it a lot more. This is Tripwire quality.
One major compliment for the map maker here, is that they completely understand how to use lighting and shading effectively. Overall there is good visibility and lighting, but there are lots of shaded areas where you need to turn on the flash light. Not for long periods of time, just for a second or two. Like you might see a dark shelf (due to shade) but if you turn on flash light you can see the tools and objects on the shelf. Very impressive and it's rare to see this level of understanding in custom maps.
Definitely a serious contender for the Grindhouse competition. 10 points from me.
Voting is not working properly, it put down a 7 but I wanted to put down a 10.
I didn't find any bug.
Just one more thing. Could you change the sun's colour to yellow? I guess the blue sun looks weird. :(
Enough good. So, up-voted by 7.
Nicely done.
it would be better if the map was archived in download
Hi geotavros!
What benefits are gained through archiving dowloads and how would i go about doing that?

Latest patch broke all the textures, needs to be fixed :X
Also, consider adding this to the Steam Workshop
Hi! Sorry for the late reply but we have fixed the textures and it is now available on the steam workshop.

I really love the layout of the map, sadly the textures seem to still be broken. It's an awesome map the only thing holding it back is the broken textures. If this gets fixed I'll be so happy.
Nice to hear you like the map! We finally got around to fix the textures and upload it to the workshop. Steamcommunity.com
