We are not sure about the best default option for the Immortal Redneck's abilities bar. Wanna help?
Immortal Redneck is a FPS set in Egypt with roguelite elements: random generated dungeons, permadeath, different classes with their own abilities, a skill tree and lots and lots of weapons and abilities. The setup is very simple: the redneck won a trip to Egypt, but after some unfortunated event, he ended up mummified and shooting mythological monsters while trying to understand what has happened to him.

Since you are talking about "the best default option", does it mean, the interface will be customizable? I'd like that a lot!
When I played Wrack (sadly their images here don't show GUI), I noticed that its distribution of elements around the screen worked less well than Doom, where all the information is at the bottom.
And maybe the lower left element ("45") should be less intrusive. Smaller, less colorful.
Fantastic work so far! I can't wait to see the finished product. The chest disintegration still bothers me a bit though. I would highly suggest a position map technique but it is up to you guys.
I'm seeing what, five different types of icons in here? With multiple instances activated? If that is the case I would say to simplify it with one of each icon at the top and then identify multiple instances with either: A, Bx2, Cx4. Or indicated them with different icons, maybe at their base level they will have a light green stroke glow, and then go like yellow -> red -> shaking glowing red/orange.
