If that ship was in a big storm, and i was using an Oculus Rift, i would puke my guts out. But i must say, i does look amazing :D

I don't think its a matter of price, as even two really good monitors would equate out to the Oculus. More a big deal that there are still bugs with it, as it is not a consumer release as Jesusfreak says, and more troublesome is that it is not HD yet. More than likely will be addressed though. Best to wait.

Yes, the price is not really an issue. For the kind of experience it brings, it is damned affordable. It needs a lot of work still, and the technology is still in its' infancy. With better motion tracking and LEAP motion added for CV1, it will be much easier to build games for it. I do have to admit, it took me a grand total of about 15 minutes to bring in the Oculus SDK into the game and get a first version working so they do have their software integration figured out.
