Hall of Science is a educational museum simulator game where scientists past and present have their scientific accomplishments displayed for all to learn and interact with. accompanied by Video, Dialogue and written explanations that convey historical or visualize scientific concepts that allow the level of engagement that comes with video games.

Virtual reality (VR)

Imagine sitting in your home and being transported to a lecture room with Albert Einstein as he explains the theory of relativity atoms, planets and technologies begin appearing in front of you as he talks about the theory, ideas, facts and evidence behind it.

Now imagine engaging in the learning with a class of hundreds of other students from all over the world all watching the same things you are. This game is occulus rift and HTC vine ready and was made in blender and cryengine.

we will support as many virtual reality enabled device as possible.

This allows users to step inside their favorite games and simulations and completely immerse themselves in the virtual worlds.

This is the Gamification of Education in attempts to improve user engagement, productivity, flow, learning, ease of use and usefulness, motivation and interests among others in the Science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) fields. in a attempt at gameful experiences.

Game features

  • The archiving of scientists work

The permanent storage of the life works and stories of many of the most famous scientists of history. Along with their inventions and discoveries recreated for the new age of educational video games and interactivity.

  • Showcasing science orientated works

The game follows the methodology of science by being a open and collaborate project, with contributions from science based content creators, such as Symphony of Science showing science themed music video creations and Deep Astronomy with astronomy and space related videos.

  • Space missions simulations

Recreating events of historical significant such as the Mars Exploration Rover Missions (MER) which is a ongoing robotic space mission involving two robots, Spirit and opportunity, exploring the planet Mars – to explore the Martian surface and geology. Using a digital elevation model (DEM) is a digital model or 3D representations of a terrains surface created from terrain elevation data.

  • Science lessons

Interact and learn concepts such as logic gates, velocity, acceleration, force, energy, the evolution of life and many others.

  • Artifacts archiving

Taking photos of objects of significant historical value and through a technology called Photogrammetry, recreating them perfectly into 3D assets, preserving them forever in the hall of science and digital space and uploading them for free to the internet for all to see.

  • Message and voice chat encryption

Talk or write to anyone in the world over a secure connection, making it difficult for anyone to intercept your ideas and communications. For those who live in countries that stifle freedom of information and freedom of speech a unencrypted chat function for those where encryption is already outlawed or will cause repercussions.

  • Modding/steam workshop

The Cryengine is a perfect game engine to allow free and easy modding or submission of content to the Hall Of Science website or the steam workshop. Is there a science subject your good at?, recreate it in digital space and upload it for all to learn.

Milestones and progression will be recorded and rewarded with in game achievements and badges so you and all your friends can see your progression.

Im going to submit regular screenshots and videos to keep you up to date on the games progress and Twitch stream when new feature and news is added.

Hall of science is the 8th highest ranked video game on indedb.com, 19th on moddb.com, 28th on indiedb.com and was only submitted 8 hours ago.

A reception i was not expecting on the first day of submitting so thank you everyone for your interest and support.

I will be launching the full campaign in 3 weeks so stay tuned and share if you support the development of the game.

With the release of cryengine V bringing new features such as Dx12, C# and greater support for Virtual Reality. The game is in the process of porting it to the new engine so i have increased the release date to April 12th.
