Hi, my name is José Calderón and I'm the creator of Goddess!
Goddess is a medieval fantasy game for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS.
The game tells the sad love story of a princess, who will have to go through a world filled with beautiful and lively places, as well as other full of sadness and sorrows to find the person who she most loves in the world.
The game will be free and you can play the demo on itch.io
It isn't necessary to download or install anything. The game runs directly on your browser by pressing the "Download" button. You can use your keyboard, gamepad or touch screen to play.
My goal is to achieve a completely free game with content suitable for all ages, and when required, there will be censored content available only for 17+.
You can get an itch.io key and your name in the credits by helping with 3d modeling, original music, translations, publicity or any other thing.
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. I'll be pleased to answer you!
Hello! One year has passed since the last devblog and my way of thinking has changed a lot over this past year. When I started, I thought everything would be easier. I thought that spending a few extra hours a week, writing a devblog would be faster. Now I understand that this isn't true.
The indie game communities are saturated, there are too many games being developed and many are quite good! Tools like a devblog are the best way to promote a game that is still in development, but making a complete devblog isn't easy at all! Especially if you don’t speak English! So I couldn't fulfill this task.
Speaking of Goddess, the development goes well. I finished all the Grandport Castle interiors. 1 hall, 1 great hall, 1 dining room, 2 class rooms, 4 corridors, 8 bedrooms and more than 20 pieces of furniture. Here you can see the Great hall and the Goddess bedroom again, this time with furniture inside.
Also, I finished the Grandport Castle model. This took me a long time to finish it, but I'm very happy with the results.
Currently, I’m working in the front garden. Still many details are missing, but I'm already in it. I’ll include trees, shrubs, flowers, fountains, benches and other things.
What do you think? Please help me by commenting what you like to see in a devblog? I really don't know what to post without spoiling the game. Any suggestion is welcome!
This is it for now. If you liked this project, don't forget to rate it on itch.io. This helps a lot.
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. I'll be pleased to answer you!

interesting.
Hello, Daniel! Thank you so much for commenting, Your project is also very interesting. I'll take a look at it :3
Hello :)
I tried the demo, and it looks really nice. The idea of weather control is really cool :)
I have a couple of suggestions regarding usability. Firstly, it would be nice to make additional indication of the menus' options, as "..." sign is not very noticable. You could add a color indication, for example. Secondly, it would be nice to add some UI elements that will help navigation, a mini-map that presents on the screen constantly, or large map that can be opened/closed any time, or both.
Great ideas! There will be a lot of new features in future updates. I'm taking note of everything. Thank you for your comment and suggestions. I really appreciate it.
You are welcome :)
Thank you for developing a cross platform (Linux) game with family centered gameplay!
