Fractured State is an urban combat real time strategy game that takes place in the pseudo diesel/steam punk decay of the nation of Laperia. It features simultaneous interior and exterior combat to power building-to-building fights, cover and flanking, and weapon accuracy modelling and reloading.

This week I decided to finally make the editor sort of look like an editor. Check out my efforts below:

Editor Skin

I also did some clean up of the loading procedure code. Not much that I can show in a screen shot (unless you're really into Windows Explorer). What I can say is that I moved some loader code out of the Editor and into a more generic class so it can be shared between the Editor and the Game eventually. The general idea is that you'll be able to select which aspects of the Fractured State code base get loaded with your mod. Making a TC and don't want the FS units? That can be arranged. Making a balance mod and want everything loaded so you can overwrite selected stuff? Done. Feeling ambitious and don't want anything? Have at it. This will all be controlled via the Mod's config file in order to give the author as much control as possible.
