While a big projects move slowly like the sleeping elephant we want to wake us... at this time all of the net world full of old school and pixels games. But... why people cant bring back the golden times of "Lands of Lore"? "Legend of Kyrandia", "Flash Back", "Another World", "Zeliard"? We want to do this. Our game it's not only old school platformer. It's a game with a right colors, old style of creation of games... and... ofcourse a right story about good guy in a bad time in a right place. The mysterious island. Lot of puzzles. Francis Drake. Real story of vessel named Pelican. Lot of treasures. New friends and old enemies. New enemies and old gold. All it... Drake. We call it - Drake.

I just realized the Lionwoord logo looks a lot like the old Westwood logo. Another link to Legend of Kyrandia? ;)
M-m-m... yes... but this is only tribute in honor of great game studio and Game, especially to artist of old Westwood Studios. Every second day i remind myself about this games, and about impact of these artworks on my work. Because... i definitely love this. ;)
But... i'm not a blind follower. Just guy in love to the past. ;)
Also a great admirer of the old Westwood here! Next to their adventures I also love their RTS games, especially Dune 2.

Hezus don't tell me about Dune 2, you make me cry. Many years i dream about some games like childs of Dune 2, Flashback, Legend of Kyrandia, Lands of Lore, Arcanum, Fallout. But first four from this list never spotted on the horizonts of my ocean. List of games much more, but this is a very dangerous theme. I fear touch it. Because love and feel of nostalgy can stop me (laughing).
Can say only one - Westwood just great guys. And my taste of beautiful coincides with their vision. And... I think with yours vision, of course. Otherwise we will not talking here so nice.
By the way. Currently, right now next huge update awaiting of autorization here. Very-very closer. New concept-art, animations, infos, samples, voting about Art Style, even announce of poster.
It's too bad the company collapsed in the early 00's. They really showed they could keep up with the games with some of their last titles. I especially loved Nox. Too bad EA didn't care about Nox when they acquired the license. Would have been great to see more mutiplayer updates or even a sequel.
EA in my opinion best killer of old brave developers team and good titles. I love many EA games but in same time i really hate things that they do with many games. Fault for murderer of Westwood Studios I put into the EA shoulders (snarled). And I don't care who from they pull the trigger. I see result.
Nox is cute game. All that can do by WS have a special style and special way to entertain gamers. But what's the really strange, that WS not reborn after crysis. Petroglyph Games is born from pieces of WS team, as I understand it. Now they really can returning to the gamers. But also I understand that in each team need a real Captain. Where, WS Captains? Who know?
