Blaze is a retro/minimalistic styled sci-fi first person flight/shooter action game. The game can be played almost single handedly with just mouse. It's about shooting a lot of alien things (in semi-randomized missions?). The alien things are trying capture all your base, and have already captured at least half of it. You have to defend the base and capture the alien controlled areas back. Or something like that...
Some new stuff for the UI:
* New console font
* New crosshairs (made them a little highres, so they don't filter into blur, and the diagonal crosshairs look smooth)
* Some minor improvements on the HUD
The HUD now displays Energy, Stamina, Oxygen and Respawns at the top. The default Quake layout sort of works, but there's some useless stuff in it... You can probably guess which parts in it are useless or semi-useless. Maybe I can think of some use for some of them.
Energy and Shield are now different. Powerups use the Energy. Shield is just your basic protection thing.
Stamina is used for running, jumping and swimming.. you can still do all of that without, but it will be a little slower.
Oxygen is used underwater, and maybe in outside areas. When it runs out, you take damage.
Respawns allow you to continue the level after dying without the level restarting completely and losing all stuff. At the moment the respawns are restored at level starts, and the amount depends on the difficulty level.
Or was the old thicker font more readable?

i can read it fine, the crosshairs seem a little hd or something compared to the rest fo the game, maybe make them look similar to the green numbers on the hud?
Yea, maybe they're a bit too highres. But the diagonal crosshairs kind of need the resolution to look smooth like the others. Maybe they don't need the rounded corners. Also DarkPlaces has cvars for crosshair colors/alpha..
I've added some more intensity and full outlines to the font, now it's more readable outside the console too.
