What started out as an early idea and desire to keep the spiritual essence of Battlezone. Our inspirations of our RAZOR unit were indeed the early BZ1 Razor Scout Unit.

Initially in brainstorming concepts one idea
we looked at was first trying to recreate the Battlezone 1 Razor Unit. In an attempt to see the insight and ideas behind what led in it's production.

In looking to create a scout unit, we did early sketches and renders of what it would have looked like in our game. And in doing so started the creative cycle and inspirations of what led us to our next concepts.

We quickly became affirmed in our heads an idea for the Rebel Faction's Scout.
And so based off this concept we set our sights on making it into a reality.

RAZOR Concept

From this sketch it cemented our concept design for our Rebel RAZOR unit and so went on to proceed with modelling developments.

The Final Design in the modelling stage took sometime however with a few adjustments to go we were ready to start seeing the texture and how it would come into play with the Unit's Look.
